Questions About Our Studio Classes
Do I need Pilates experience to take a class at Pilates 804?
We recommend starting with a private session before joining group classes. You can also get started in our progressive Beginner Series to build a strong foundation.
What’s the difference between a group class and a private session?
Group classes are small and dynamic, while private sessions are completely personalized to your needs, goals, and movement background. Many clients do a mix of both.
What equipment do you use at the studio?
We train on traditional Pilates equipment from Balanced Body®, Peak Pilates®, and Gratz™. This gives you the authentic feel of Pilates across multiple styles.
What should I wear and bring to class?
Wear fitted clothing without zippers, hooks, or dangling jewelry. Grip socks are recommended for safety. Please bring only a sealed water bottle — and no need to bring a mat, we provide everything you’ll need.
How do I know which class level is right for me?
We’ll guide you. Most clients begin with a private session or Beginner Series before moving into mixed-level classes.
How do I book a class or session?
All scheduling runs through Vagaro. You can book online anytime or reach out if you need help.
Can Pilates help with back pain or injury recovery?
Yes — our teachers are trained in safe progressions and modifications. We may ask for medical clearance depending on your situation.
Where is Pilates 804 located and is parking available?
We’re in Richmond’s West End with convenient on-site parking. Directions are included in your booking confirmation.
